Northern Spain hasn’t always been well known for their blueberry crops, but that may well be changing.
The engineering company will be sharing their latest in flexible packing for fruit, vegetables, and nuts at 2017´s Fruit Attraction.
Induser was present for this year’s edition of the International Berry Congress (Congreso Internacional de Frutos Rojos). Over 1000 people participated in the festival, with 50 businesses presenting, including the automatic packing line engineers from Almería. In the third year of the Congress, turnout greatly surpassed that of the past year, and there was a clear focus on the international market.
Induser is present today along with the Plataforma en Defensa de los Regadíos del Condado, who sponsored a protest march today in the capital city Huelva to protect the berry sector. The protesters are demanding the availability of land and water in the area; if these problems aren't resolved soon, it could have detrimental effects on soft fruit cultivation.
What trends were found at the world's premier event for the packaging sector?
