This project was designed to reach 1,800 kg/hour using 500-gram clamshell containers, integrating high-precision weighing and closing technology.

At INDUSER, we understand that each fruit requires a tailored approach. This new cherry packaging line in Extremadura is a success story that brings together efficiency, precision, and adaptability. The main format in this project is the 500-gram clamshell container, and the system is engineered to achieve up to 1,800 kilograms per hour, while maintaining product integrity and process reliability.

Linear Combination Weigher from INDUSER

The line begins with a product elevator that feeds the cherries into a 14-head linear combination weigher. This smart weighing technology ensures accurate combinations for each container, reducing the margin of error to just 1–2 grams. That level of precision not only improves performance—it also delivers fast ROI.

After weighing, the cherries move to an automatic packaging machine, model CFT4600 servo, which handles dispensing, filling, and closing the clamshell containers. In this case, the machine integrates a pneumatic closing system designed to securely snap shut the locking tabs, ensuring a reliable seal every time.

As in all our projects, integration of peripheral systems is key. A series of custom conveyors ensures a smooth product flow, and at the end of the line, an in-line checkweigher with air-jet rejection automatically removes any off-weight containers. Just after that, a top labeler module applies labels with speed and accuracy.

The entire line is built in stainless steel, meeting the highest standards of hygiene, durability, and maintenance. The equipment layout and design allow easy access for cleaning and technical interventions, supporting a safe and efficient working environment.

An added value of this solution is its multi-format capability, allowing the system to quickly adapt to containers from 250 grams up to 1 kilogram, giving the line flexibility to respond to changing market demands.
