Induser is present today along with the Plataforma en Defensa de los Regadíos del Condado, who sponsored a protest march today in the capital city Huelva to protect the berry sector. The protesters are demanding the availability of land and water in the area; if these problems aren't resolved soon, it could have detrimental effects on soft fruit cultivation.

The Platform's president Cristóbol Picón explains, "We can't keep waiting forever for a response. We can't deal with this uncertainty."

According to the Diaro de Huelva: With this demonstration, the Platform is asking the central government to activate the arrival of surface water to the region and to allow the approval of the tranference of 153 hectares. They are asking asking for the Declaración de Impacto Ambiental (DIA) del travase de 4,993 hectares. These requests have moved the farmers to organize two past protests in the Plaza de las Monjas.
