On 12th June, the Teatro Municipal de El Ejido hosted the twelfth edition of the Premios de la Agricultura Almeriense, organised by La Voz de Almería, Cadena SER Provincia de Almería, and Agricultura 2000. An annual event that shines a light on the values, dedication and innovation driving the economic and social engine of this province.
This year, INDUSER was honoured with the Technological Commitment Award, a distinction that fills us with pride and recognises our journey as an engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of automatic packaging solutions for the fruit and vegetable sector.
It’s not every day that a media outlet like La Voz de Almería grants an award that acknowledges technology as a lever for change across an entire industry. That’s why this recognition also comes with great responsibility: to keep thinking, designing, and building solutions that help the agri-food sector evolve without losing its essence.
Our R&D Director and founding partner, Juan Martos, accepted the award on behalf of the whole team, stating:
“This award is confirmation that our continuous efforts to innovate are making a real impact on the sector. We’re developing automatic packaging solutions that not only optimise processes, but also protect the product, people, and the environment.”
He also highlighted the importance of a broader view on automation:
“It’s not just about producing faster, but about doing it better. We believe in technology that’s close, flexible and tailor-made — designed to meet today’s logistical and commercial challenges, adapt to different formats, and reduce waste.”

Business Commitment Award: Agrupapulpí, for its integrated production and marketing model.

Sector Commitment Award: Grupo Operativo Smali, formed by Unica Group, the University of Córdoba, Tecnova, Newlite and Bioline Iberia, for their intelligent lighting project.

Environmental Commitment Award: Grupo Agroponiente, for its demonstrated dedication to sustainability, supported by certifications such as B-Corp.

Organic Farming Commitment Award: Alpujarra Agroecológica Project, coordinated by IFAPA and local producers, for inspiring younger generations to return to farming through an ecological model.
