Over 20 years of experience, continuous innovation and one constant ambition: to understand ever better how to automate fresh produce weighing and packaging.
Madrid will once again become the meeting point for the international fresh produce industry from 6 to 8 October. At Fruit Attraction 2026, INDUSER will present a selection of new developments at Hall 9, Stand D25, reflecting the company's technological maturity and, at the same time, its determination to keep moving forward.
Because in an industry such as fresh produce weighing and packaging, experience alone is not enough. Staying competitive means continually learning. It means anticipating needs, differentiating ourselves and finding new answers to the challenges faced by growers and packers.
At INDUSER, this commitment has been part of our journey for over 20 years. More than two decades during which the company has done more than manufacture machines: we have continually learnt how to automate fresh produce, understanding how each product behaves, how to protect it, how to achieve the required accuracy and how to adapt each solution to the process and packaging format.
Fruit Attraction 2026 will be another demonstration of that learning.
More intelligence to take weighing further
One of the main highlights of the stand will be the evolution of the PGF series, which now includes a 16-head version developed to meet the needs of high-throughput production and the most demanding customers.
The new PGF generation also incorporates three functions that take weighing automation a step further.
Smart Feed automatically adjusts the active hoppers to match real-time product availability, optimising feeding according to actual production conditions. Flow Sync monitors the product bed on the vibrating feed trays and uses PID control to automatically adjust vibration amplitude. Smart Weight applies machine learning to analyse weight deviations, learn from product behaviour and account for the effect of in-flight weight.
The result is a combination of greater accuracy, reduced giveaway, fewer manual adjustments and more profitable operation.
This evolution is complemented by a new closing module, designed to provide greater flexibility and adapt to different packaging formats.
Gentle handling and precision are not mutually exclusive
INDUSER's experience with delicate produce will be represented by the PL1415, a linear weigher with combination weighing technology, integrated with a banding system designed to move product while minimising friction and product build-up.
The solution has been developed for products such as stone fruit, avocados and pears, where weighing accuracy must go hand in hand with particularly careful product handling.
From weighing to packaging: thinking in terms of complete solutions
INDUSER will also showcase a film-bagging solution integrated with its circular multihead weigher, one of the company's most established technologies.
The demonstration reflects an idea that is central to INDUSER's approach to engineering: a weigher is not a standalone solution when the objective is to automate a packaging process. The ability to integrate technologies and adapt each project to the product, the packaging format and the desired outcome is an essential part of INDUSER's offering.
Engineering that anticipates change
The company will also demonstrate the operation of a simple line featuring a carton forming machine, responding to a growing need in different markets: moving from certain plastic packaging formats to alternatives made from materials with a lower environmental impact.
The process begins with the automatic forming of a punnet from a flat sheet of paper-based material designed to be biodegradable. From there, the line continues with the automated weighing and filling process, integrating the formation of the new packaging format into a complete solution.
However, for many packers, the challenge is not simply to change materials. It also means finding ways to evolve existing lines and equipment without losing the value of investments already made.
For INDUSER, anticipating change does not mean starting from scratch every time a new market requirement emerges. It means putting engineering at the service of that evolution, adapting existing solutions, integrating new equipment and formats, and extending the value of an investment over the long term.
It is also an example of how INDUSER understands innovation: not as a succession of new machines, but as the ability to find solutions that help customers move forward.
Over 20 years learning to automate fresh produce
The developments INDUSER will present in Madrid share a common denominator: innovation understood as continuous learning.
More than 20 years of experience and over 250 installations across five continents have enabled the company to build specialist knowledge of fresh produce weighing and packaging. This knowledge is supported by in-house engineering and manufacturing, expertise in delicate produce, accuracy, flexibility and the ability to develop fully customised solutions.
This year, INDUSER also approaches Fruit Attraction as part of MotionTech, a global industrial group specialising in automation. Membership of the group does not change the company's focus; it strengthens it. It is not simply about becoming bigger, but about being able to do more through collective intelligence, sharing knowledge, capabilities and industrial experience.
Because staying competitive means continually striving to do better. And for INDUSER, that means never stopping learning.
More than 20 years on, the question remains the same: how can we automate fresh produce better?
